Rock Out
The best method out there to learn guitar is the learn guitar software. In all honesty I was quite skeptical that trying to learn guitar on my computer would be very hard. I was afraid the instructions would come across as unclear and who would have to ask questions to?
All of my worries quickly faded when I looked at the positives of learning from my computer. I could learn to play guitar at my own pace, the guitar software was much cheaper that actual lessons, and I could rock out to anything regardless of how bad it sounded; no one would hear me.
