Cheapest Policy

I have been wondering where to get the best auto insurance quotes. I have been thinking about looking online but my mom says that I should only buy from a local company. I see what she is saying but I do not think that I can get the cheapest policy that way. I am thinking that I may be able to find the most savings by buying a policy online. I am going to have to do my research about this whole thing. I am going to need something by the end of the month so I do have a little bit of time.
