My husband and I got married last year after dating for six years. I knew that his job involved a lot of travel, but for the first three months of our marriage I was spoiled because he was home the entire time. However, when the busy season began at his job, I had to quickly get used to stay home by myself. I had lived by myself for years when I was single, but being in a new house in a different neighborhood made me feel nervous when he was gone.
