Ouch!

Anyone who has children and a fireplace in their home can honestly tell you that glass heatilator doors are a great idea. The doors allow your fireplace to still be a main attraction in your home, but they keep little fingers out of places they should not be.

Some times you can get fireplace doors that have designs on them, making them all the more ascetically pleasing. But I must honestly say that the main reason I purchased heatilator doors was for the security of my children, (although the look of the fireplace is not so shabby either). My husband believes that the purpose of the doors was all about safety, and it was in the beginning. Now I am very happy to report the doors look wonderful in our home and the babies are safe.
