Why is the Japanese Currency Exchange so Much Higher than the US Dollar?
I was browsing the currency exchange website and was amazed at how much higher the Japanese Yen is valued at as compared to the US dollar. For instance, 50 US dollars is equal to $4,512.04 in the Japanese Yen. This seems rather mind boggling to me! So, i am assuming that if I took $50 in US money to Japan, I could exchange it for over $4,000 there? This makes me wonder if the cost of living in Japan isn’t much less than in the US. Or, perhaps, they just have an extremely better economy there. This also makes me want to take a little money from here and go on a nice leisure trip to Japan one day.
