Are airline pilot jobs finally returning?

To say that airline pilot jobs have been hard to get lately is an understatement.  We all saw the airline industry experience one blow after another over the last decade, which more-or-less (mostly more) stopped pilot employment entirely.  But is it is beginning to appear that we are moving past that point and will we soon see a flood of airline pilot jobs spring up?

Currently contract pilot jobs in international locations are showing up, but it is extremely likely as the very things that caused the shortage of pilot jobs begin to wind down, that a deep and vast pilot shortage will soon follow.  The airline industry has always been feast or famine entity.
