Please tell me what it is for
My friend told me I would need to get the phone company to authorize the switching of my current number over to a new phone or any other phone. I am surprised I need this Pac code but actually when I think about it anyone could come and say they have my number I guess so it is a type of protection so that no one can use my number and bill it to me I guess. Or it keeps others from using your old phone, I am not so sure of the purpose really. I am going online to get some more information.
